A Disney Christmas Past

With just 12 days left in the thunder dome that was 2020, and during this Christmastime (my favorite time of year), I'm reflecting on my trip to "the World" from December 2019. Little did I know then how much would change after that.

While I have made an inaugural post-Covid park reopening trip to Disney since then, and I have another booked for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary next fall, I wanted to take a few moments and revel in the glorious, magical, holiday perfection that was my last "normal" trip.

A few highlights:

Breakfast with Mickey and Friends at Topolino's Terrace at the Riviera Resort! I got to check out this beautiful new DVC property, plus experience one of the best character breakfasts I've ever had, just a few days after the grand opening.

Pastries for the Table
Sour Cream Waffles

Rise of the Resistance! Christmas came early when I got to be one of the first to experience the ground- breaking attraction (really more of a full fledged, immersive experience) at Hollywood Studio's Galaxy's Edge. This quickly cemented itself as a new favorite, and must-do on the Disney list. For your entertainment pleasure, here's a clip of me squealing like a school girl on the ride....

And finally, the general splendor. Everything from the lights and decorations at the Parks, to the resort gingerbread displays, that makes the most magical place on earth just a little bit more magical.

So here's to cherishing the memories of Disney Christmas pasts and the anticipation of future Disney Christmas's.
